ELISA |
The
REAADS Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) ELISA Screen is
a qualitative indirect enzyme immunoassay for the
detection of antinuclear autoantibodies in human
serum or plasma*. The test detects antinuclear
antibodies directed against dsDNA, Ro(SS-A), La(SS-B),
Sm, Sm/RNP, Scl-70, Jo-1, histone and centromere
antigens. The test may be used to screen out those
samples which are negative for antinuclear
antibodies. Samples which give a positive test
result should be further tested to identify the
antigen-specific antibody or antibodies present in
the sample. Antinuclear antibody detection
represents one parameter in a multi-criteria
diagnostic process.
